Directly east of the famous surfing capital of the east coast of Florida, the Sebastian Inlet and barrier islands provide miles of oceanfront and the headwaters of the St. Johns' river empty out into the Stick Marsh, west in the Fellsmere area. North in Brevard County are the communities of Little Hollywood on the St. Sebastian River, Micco, Barefoot Bay, and Grant.
